It was reported that the Annual Meeting had taken place in the Town Hall on April 8th, 1919. The Council appointed Mr. Hugh Herford to act as a trustee to wind up the accounts and to hand over the net assets to the Trades Council women’s group which was being formed out of the amalgamation of the WTUC, the Women’s Trades and Labour Council and the Manchester and Salford Trades and Labour Council.

During the absence of the Secretary from the meeting it was resolved that her wages be continued until the end of April with an additional £20.00 (twenty pounds) as a small token of the Executive Committee appreciation of her valuable services and unselfish devotion to the cause.
